The Drawbar assembly needs to be maintained for correct tool retention and release.
Correct air pressure needs to be set on the right hand side air regulator up to 120PSI. Pressure should not drop more than 3-5 PSI during tool change. The system needs to be free from any air leaks, damaged/scored drawbars or worn Belleville springs. It is essential that the correct number of springs are replaced, dependent upon the spring pocket depth.
Special puller and pilot tools are required to replace the drawbar, floater and springs.
