Fadal Amplifiers

Fadal Amplifiers

The Amplifiers are mounted to the Amp Chassis and are used to amplify the control signal from the axis controller card and provide power to the axis motor.
 

There are 2 systems - the older DC drives and newer AC Brushless drives.
 

The larger AMP-0021/AMP-0014 amps are used for the XYZ axes and the smaller AMP-006/AMP-0014 are used for the AB Axes.
 

The AMP-0040 is used for XYZ and AMP-0006/AMP-0014 for DC AB Axes.
 

When replacing the Motor, the Balance/Signal Gain/Compensation tuning of Amplifiers needs to be carried out.
 

If there is a problem with the Amplifier please check status LEDs (described below) for an explanation:
